Is it available in your state?
One of the easiest ways to narrow down the list of sportsbooks is by figuring out which ones are available to you. If you’re in a state such as Nevada, New Jersey or Delaware, there are different sportsbooks available to you. For example, in Nevada, there are several options including MGM, Westgate, William Hill, Stations, Wynn, CG Technology, etc. In Delaware, sportsbooks are located at Dover Downs, Delaware Park and Harrington Raceway and Casino. In New Jersey, Monouth Park opened New Jersey’s first sportsbook. The Meadowlands Racetrack is expected to open sportsbook soon. In Mississippi, MGM is expected to open their sportsbooks in July 2018. Rhode Island and West Virginia also passed legislation recently and expect to open sportsbooks at the end of the summer or early fall.

Multiple Accounts
If there are multiple sportsbooks in your area, Betting Kings recommends to set up investment accounts with different sportsbooks. Each sportsbooks has their own line. If you have multiple accounts, you can invest at the sportsbook with the best return to grow your investment account.

Features That You Are Looking For
Here are the main elements of a sportsbook to look for:

Customer Service – Understand the hours of a sportsbook, including when the windows are open to take wagers and the hours of operation for online accounts or via their app. Each sportsbook operates differently and this could be an important factor in your selection.

Live Betting – Live betting allows you to bet in-game while the action is happening. It’s a relatively new feature that has been implemented at many books over the last few years, so some books have more options than others.

Low Juice – The amount of juice that you’re laying directly affects your bottom line. Some sportsbooks offer cheaper lines (-105 on football instead of -110, for example), which means you would have to wager 5% less each time. In the long run, that can save you a lot of money and sharp bettors will understand that.

Variety – Almost all sportsbooks will offer the bread-and-butter lines from the major sports like NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and the college sports. Some sportsbooks also offer a variety of prop bets.

Casino/Racebook – Some sportsbooks are located inside a casino, or by a race track or racebook. If the sports book is a “Race and Sports Book”, such as the Westgate in Las Vegas, it offers more options including betting on horses and sports.

Deposit Bonus – Some sportsbooks offer a special promotion when you set up an account or open an app when them. Look out for specials to open your account at the right time to take advantage of the promotion.
